Cassiopée ensures protection by not collecting, using or sharing individuals’ personally identifiable information without their consent unless permitted or required by law to do so, in which case consent is not necessary (see section 4.3 of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act).
The purpose of this Policy is to inform our clients and suppliers of why and how Cassiopée, or anyone acting on its behalf, collects and uses personal information.
For the purposes of this Policy, “personal information” means any information that identifies or makes it possible to identify an individual.

How consent is obtained
By doing business with us, you consent to Cassiopée retaining and using your personal information without sharing it with or disclosing it to third parties in any way.
Personal information collected
Cassiopée may collect personal information in various forms, but does so only by lawful means and only for the necessary purposes indicated in this Policy or when permitted or required by law. We protect all personal information collected. We ask our clients and partners to send us all personal or confidential information through our secure encrypted form.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our website, you will have the option to save your name and email address along with the web address using cookies. The sole purpose of doing this is to avoid you having to re-enter this information in the event you leave another comment. These cookies expire after one year.
If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal information and is deleted automatically when you close your browser. When you log in, we create a number of cookies to save your login information and screen preferences. Login cookies are automatically deleted after two days, and screen option cookies, one year. If you check off the “Remember me” box, your login cookie will be stored for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the cookie is deleted.

Cassiopée ensures that all personal information in its possession is as accurate, up-to-date and complete as necessary for the purposes for which it is used.
You have the right to request access to your personal information for verification and to request that your personal information be corrected if it is incorrect. If you wish to access your personal information or believe that it may be incorrect, you may use the contact information provided at the end of this Policy to submit a request to access it.

If your request concerns information appearing on third-party web pages or platforms, please contact those third parties directly.
Sharing of personal information with third parties
We do not share your personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Cassiopée. Cassiopée does not share your personal information with or sell or rent it to any third party.
Storage of personal information
At Cassiopée, we like to retain our clients for the long term, so we keep the data we collect indefinitely. During the storage period, Cassiopée takes physical and technical measures to safeguard data containing personal information.
Cassiopée stores data only digitally with Google Workspace. Google Workspace stores data on encrypted servers in Google data warehouses.
